Wesleyan University recently expanded its access to on-site renewable energy when Greenskies Clean Energy LLC ("Greenskies"), Connecticut's largest commercial solar developer, energized a 96-kilowatt rooftop solar array at the Center for Film Studies.

When Greenskies first discussed leasing the Mahoning Drive-In Theater property from the landowner more than six months ago, we were not aware of the cultural significance and nostalgic value the theater represented. We now recognize the importance of the Mahoning Drive-in to the community of Lehighton and film enthusiasts far and wide. We are engaging with the theater operator and the landowner to resolve the concerns of all the parties involved.

Greenskies, a leader in renewable energy solutions, announced the completion of a 1.17 megawatt (MW) solar array for the Town of East Haven, Connecticut. The project, at the capped East Haven Landfill, consists of about 3,000 solar panels and converts approximately 5 acres of otherwise unusable land into a cost-saving and revenue-generating solar farm.
