Cape and Vineyard Electric Cooperative (CVEC) partnered with Greenskies Clean Focus, a national leader in renewable energy solutions, to install a 231.77 kW solar energy system at Oak Bluffs Elementary School in Massachusetts.

Greenskies on Tuesday said it partnered with Vanguard Energy Partners, a national solar construction firm, to construct a new solar array on land adjacent to the Raritan Valley Community College Workforce Training Center in North Branch.

Raritan Valley Community College is going even more green with the latest installation of a new 313.6kilowatt (kW) ground-mounted solar system.

Greenskies Clean Focus recently powered a new 313.6 kW ground-mounted solar plant for Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in North Branch, New Jersey. Greenskies teamed up with Vanguard Energy Partners, a national solar construction company, to build a solar panel on land adjacent to the RVCC Workforce Training Center (WTC).

The 725 -panel system — which can produce up to 386 Megawatt hours (MWh) per year of clean, renewable energy — is fully powering RVCC’s two-story, 44,000 square-foot Workforce Training Center.

Greenskies Clean Focus recently energized a new 313.6-kW ground-mounted solar installation for Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) of North Branch, New Jersey.

These solar projects were made possible through a 15-year solar power purchase agreement (PPA) with Greenskies, enabling the school district to install the solar systems at no cost and purchase the electricity they generate at a reduced rate while also outsourcing operation and maintenance costs for the 15-year term.

Greenskies partnered with Pfister Energy, a top commercial solar developer and engineering, procurement and construction contractor based in Hawthorne, which installed solar panels on the roofs at Wanaque Elementary School (250 kilowatts) and Haskell Elementary School (140 kW).

Solar panels atop a pair of Wanaque schools are now powering the grid as part of the school district's effort to save some green, district officials announced this week.
