The Oak Bluffs planning board completed a site plan review last week for a large-scale solar array planned for the capped landfill behind the transfer station.

The Town Council on Monday unanimously approved agreements with Greenskies Clear Energy to install solar panels on Wapping, Philip R. Smith, and Orchard Hill elementary schools and, depending on the bid, at the high school and Eli Terry Elementary School as well.
